1. Acceptance of Terms

By accessing or using Quill Keeper, you agree to be bound by these Terms of Service and all applicable laws and regulations. If you do not agree with any part of these terms, you must not use our service.

2. Service Description

Quill Keeper provides an online platform for novelists to write, organize, and refine their work with the aid of intelligent tools. Some features may require a paid subscription. We reserve the right to modify, suspend, or discontinue any part of the service at any time without notice.

3. User Responsibilities

• You must provide accurate and complete information when creating an account.
• You are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your account credentials.
• You agree not to use the service for any unlawful or prohibited purpose.
• You must not attempt to gain unauthorized access to any part of the service or its related systems.
• You are responsible for all activities that occur under your account.

4. Subscription and Payment

Certain features of Quill Keeper require a paid subscription. Payments are processed via Paystack. Please note:

• Subscription fees are billed in advance on a monthly basis.
• If a subscription payment attempt fails, Paystack does not automatically retry the payment.
• It is your responsibility to manually make payment for the month's subscription if an attempt fails. Access to subscription features may be suspended until payment is completed.
• You can update your payment information or make a manual payment through your account dashboard.
• All fees are non-refundable except as required by law or as otherwise stated in our Refund Policy.

5. Intellectual Property

All content on Quill Keeper, including but not limited to text, graphics, logos, and software, is the property of Quill Keeper or its licensors and is protected by copyright and other intellectual property laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or create derivative works from our content without our express written permission. Your original writing, manuscripts, notes, and all creative works remain your own intellectual property at all times. Quill Keeper does not use, access, or process your data for any purpose beyond providing the service directly to you. We do not share, sell, or licence your content to any third party under any circumstances.

6. AI Usage and Data Retention

Quill Keeper may use artificial intelligence (AI) to generate or enhance content. While we strive for accuracy and quality, AI-generated content may contain errors or inaccuracies. Quill Keeper does not guarantee the completeness, reliability, or suitability of any AI-generated content. Use such content at your own discretion.

Quill Keeper enforces a strict zero-data-retention policy with all third-party AI providers. Your manuscripts and creative works are never stored, cached, or retained by any external language model provider. Our agreements with AI providers explicitly prohibit data retention, and your content is never used to train, fine-tune, or improve any AI model. No third-party provider may store or use your data beyond the immediate processing of your request.

7. Account Termination

• We reserve the right to suspend or terminate your account at our sole discretion, with or without notice, for conduct that we believe violates these Terms of Service or is otherwise harmful to Quill Keeper or other users.
• You may terminate your account at any time by contacting support@quillkeeper.com.
• Upon termination, your right to use the service will immediately cease. Subscription fees are non-refundable except as required by law.

8. Limitation of Liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Quill Keeper and its affiliates, officers, employees, and agents shall not be liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages, or any loss of profits or revenues, arising out of or related to your use of the service. Our total liability for any claim arising out of or relating to these terms or the service will not exceed the amount you paid to us in the 12 months preceding the claim.

9. Governing Law

These Terms of Service are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the jurisdiction in which Quill Keeper operates, without regard to its conflict of law principles.
